Joy Kim is an Illustrator based in Vancouver, Canada. She graduated from Emily Carr University of Art + Design in 2018 with a BFA in Illustration. 

She enjoys capturing the beauty of everyday objects, people, and childhood memories. Her illustrations strive to convey a visually captivating narrative, whether it be through the form of editorial, picture book, or branding. 

Her choice of mediums are gouache, pencil crayon, and micron pens. You can often find her sketching out ideas at local cafes, fuelling her creative energy with a cup in hand.
