Hi, I’m Joy.

I’m an Illustrator drawing on the unceded territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh Nations (Vancouver, Canada).

I enjoy my coffee iced and mornings slow. The willow tree is my muse and my favourite hue of blue is the lake on a bright May afternoon. I observe even the most mundane of things and capturing the beauty of such is my joy. The weight and beauty of our everyday, nature, and daily objects are themes I continue to be drawn to and explore through simple shapes and a soft palette. Capturing and inviting others to share the experience of seeing the ordinary in a different light is why I create.

I’m excited to continue creating beautiful illustrations in all areas from editorial, picture book, and branding. Exhibition, collaborations, and pop-up opportunities are also greatly welcomed.

If you are interested in what I do,  reach me through my e-mail.
